As the Mid-Hudson Valley celebrates its three hundred twenty year anniversary Hyde Park Teddy Bears Inc. decided to make it memorable with our new line of bears. Because of this event we have produced three extraordinary bears commemorating the life in Hyde Park, the United States Presidents, and great stories that relate to the great times that the Mid-Hudson valley has lived to see along with the rest of New York State.
Duke and Dutchess Teddy: These teddy bears are created in direct account to the 3 hundred and 20th anniversary of the Mid-Hudson Valley. That is the reason for Dutchess bear that represents where the Dutchess county's name was founded and her husband the Duke, which is in direct correlation with the rest of the Hudson Valley. These noble bears have an extreme presence of honor and will lighten any room they are placed in.
Rip Van Winkle Teddy: These teddy bears are made in the fashion of the Rip Van Winkle story by Washington Irving. They are made to represent the revolutionary era in the United States and the fact that Van Winkle slept through the revolution. To find more on the story go to http://www.bartleby.com for the whole picture and even the local library for original books or biographies on the author, Washington Irving.
